INVITATION

Estonian Yachting Union (EYU) is welcoming sailing judges to attend the 2021 World Sailing International Judges Seminar to be held in Tallinn, Estonia between 13-15 August 2021.

The event is coordinated by Ott Kallas, Secretary General of EYU and by Andrus Poksi, IJ. The appointed instructors are Neven Baran (CRO) and Ana Sanchez (ESP). The seminar and written test will be only in the English language.

The preferred number of participants will be 20 with a maximum of 25. Participants will be accepted in the order in which their application is made and will be notified of the acceptance as soon as possible after the application.

The program of the seminar is attached separately. However, it starts on Friday, 13 August at 0900 and ends at 1500 on Sunday, 15 August. Candidates should imperative be present between those hours.

Travel from Tallinn Airport to Oru Hub Hotel (seminar venue) is easy by taxi, it takes about 20 minutes and costs about 15-20 EUR.

Candidates who wish to attend a WS International Judges seminar should either have been appointed as a National Judge or have attended a Judges Clinic and have proved experience of judging and the protest committee work.

The procedure for entries is as follows

  • Send filled out official Entry Form to ott@puri.ee

  • Within 48 hours confirmation of the entry request will be send back with the request for paying the entry/reservation fee

  • Only those candidates that have fulfilled above procedure will be notified of full entry and be added to the final entry list.
